About the C4ISR Journal Awards Banquet:
C4ISR Journal will be hosting a dinner ceremony to present awards to the finalists and winners of the C4ISR Journal Big 25 C4ISR programs, technologies and agencies that matter most. The inaugural ceremony brings together two existing and successful events; the C4ISR Journal conference and the “Big 25 C4ISR Programs, Technologies and Agencies that Matter Most” editorial article that runs each year in the magazine.
About the Selection Process:
From 25 ‘most significant’ finalists, we select the finalists and winners to be announced at the Awards Banquet, one from each of the five categories of:
- Platforms (eg. UAVs/ISR and reconnaissance planes, ships and vehicle)
- Sensors (eg. radars, night vision tools, imagery tools, targeting and tracking tools)
- Systems (eg. network-centric systems, communications/command and control systems and networks, surveillance systems)
- Agencies (eg. Service commands, government and non-government research and development agencies)
- Innovations (eg. Any C4ISR-related technologies in development that show promise to address C4ISR needs. Could be engine-, stealth-, space- or other based technologies.)
The winners will be selected by a committee consisting of:
Tobias Naegele, Editor in Chief, Army Times Publishing Company
Karen Walker, Managing Editor, The Journals
Ben Iannotta, Editor, C4ISR Journal
Vago Muradian, Editor, Defense News, and host of "This Week in Defense News."
John Douglass, Former President and CEO, Aerospace Industries Association
Loren Thompson, Chief Operationg Officer, Lexington Institute
The winners will reflect U.S. and international systems/organizations/military commands and agencies. This will be prestigious recognition of the influence and significance the winning systems have in the global C4ISR world.
